How We Started
Established in 2000, Alaska Jet began its journey in Wichita, Kansas, offering fractional aircraft ownership to local businesses. Recognizing the growing demand for specialized aviation services, we expanded our operations across the central United States. In 2004, we relocated our headquarters to Lenexa, Kansas, positioning ourselves to better serve our expanding clientele. By the fall of 2019, we extended our reach to the Upper Midwest, including cities like Chicago, Louisville, Cincinnati, Milwaukee, and Indianapolis.
In recent years, acknowledging the unique transportation challenges and opportunities in Alaska, we established our primary base in Anchorage. This strategic move allows us to offer tailored aviation solutions that cater to the state’s distinctive geography and community needs.
Safety is the cornerstone of our operations. Alaska Jet proudly holds a Platinum rating from ARGUS International, the highest accolade for aviation safety and operational excellence. Additionally, we are Stage 3 certified by the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO), reflecting our unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards in the industry.
